Enlightened from Eternal Truths of Hinduism

I prefer not to ask or disclose caste or religion nor am I an atheist. I believe in science. Being a Hindu, practicing religious rituals, disapproving the so called 'Superstitious beliefs', offending granny's religious beliefs and showing little interest in following religious practices are common traits in many of us. Whenever my parents or granny stops me from doing certain things on the grounds of religious beliefs, I always ask them to provide me a reason on why such acts are not encouraged. All I get back is ' Don't argue, it is what has been followed for years!' or 'I really don't know. But you have to follow it' from a few honest people.

Were the stories of Lord Ganesha taking Mango from his parents, Hanuman ripping his heart to show his bakthi to Lord Rama and other stories true? Did that ever happen?  I also wanted to know why certain practices were encouraged by my religion. For example, why are we told to do 'Thoppukarnam' in front of  Lord Ganesha? Why do elders do 'Dhrishti Kazhithal' to us? I always wanted to know the science behind this. Always. No answer from parents and granny made me desperate to find the answer.

I then came across this book 'Hinduism Revealed' by Master Choa Kok Sui and was very eager to know about it. It then dawned upon me that Hinduism is not being religious but being spiritual. It is all about practicing things to stay on the right path, by activating 'Chakras' in the body. All my questions were answered. People back in the olden days were just like the kids in our era. Teachings can be given only as stories and not as science. I got the answers, finally, on the reason behind 'Namstae', 'Bindhi', 'Piercing Ears', 'Dhrishti Kazhithal', 'Thoppukarnam', Hanuman's physical appearance and many more.  All the religious beliefs are nothing but pure science. I was taken aback by the brilliance of our forefathers who found out energy hubs and energy transformations when there was no E=mc*c. Stunning!

It also dawned on me that religions convey the same message 'Stay in the right path by following certain principles', but in different forms. The author of the book also gives evidence on how the same message is conveyed in different religions, thus showing us that All are equal and we do the same thing in different ways. It was such a great time reading the book and I hope you too get enlightened and understand the science behind the rituals and traditions we have been practicing for years. In fact, it is our prime duty to understand why we follow our traditions and pass it on to our younger generations. Come, let us practice spirituality.
